| The table of different apple varieties at last year's Apple Day |
This Sunday, October 6th, we are holding our annual Apple Day at Eastham Country Park from 1.30 to 4pm.
We will be showcasing as many locally grown varieties of
apples as we can - I currently have 26 different ones but more may be arriving.
There will also be a chance to taste apple juice made in our traditional wooden
press. You can pick up some apple recipes or colour in a paper apple to add to the
wooden tree. As an added attraction the Mersey Morris Men will be dancing at
2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.
Do join us and the Rangers to celebrate the
great British apple.
