Heathland Walk - 25th August


This August Bank Holiday Monday you may be interested in stretching your legs and visiting Cleaver Heath for a guided walk.

Heathland Walk

1.30 - 3.30 p.m.
Meet Cleaver Heath, Oldfield Road, Heswall

We will walk through Cleaver Heath and The Dales, where the heather is now in flower, and discuss the flora and fauna of lowland heaths, as well as their management, while enjoying spectacular views across the Dee Estuary.

Have you explored the Living Seas on your doorstep?
Join us during National Marine Week on the Wirral coast for a day of seashore fun for all the family.
There will be guided walks, giant beach art, crafts with Shore Cottage Studios and loads of great ways to learn about wildlife on your doorstep.
The event will be located at the visitor centre in Wirral Country Park between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Guided walks take place from 11.30 a.m. and are not to be missed.
Families welcome, but please make sure children are accompanied by an adult. Stout footwear and waterproof clothing are recommended. If you have binoculars bring them along, who knows what we might see!
